| Colin is often known for his quiet disposition. He never causes a fuss or complains, mostly from his upbrining. His mother has never been the kindest to him. Always finding fault in all his work she has always made him feel less than. Luckily Colin has made some amazing friends at school like Alice. He's had a huge crush on her for over a year and despite Jason and Jared encouraging him, Colin can never seem to muster the courage. He's very active in school since he wants to stay out of his house as much as possible. He plays percussion in the band, joined art club, and writes for the school's news paper. Very advanced for his grade level Colin excels in his classes and activities. He is looking forward to graduating so he can leave Alan Port and his mother for college. |
| Alice is in her senior year at Alan Port. She finally sees the end of her high school journey and has already started applying to colleges and universities. She dreams of traveling the world and seeing all the sights it has to show her. She is very good at english and is thinking of getting her masters in it, but her true passion is photography. She is torn on which path to take since both are not entirely stable in the job field. Colin always encourages her to do what she wants to do. Not what she thinks is most stable. She has been friends with the younger boy for over a year and values him greatly. She's often wondered what it would be like to date him, but thinks it's a bad idea since he is younger. Her older sisters are already in college for creative writing and teaching. She wonders if she should follow their footsteps in a career choice. Alice plays percussion in the band with Colin and does it superbly. She has been playing since middle school and get's better every day. Alice knows exactly what she wants, but never seems sure how to get it. |
| Jason and Jared Mirth are the twin sons of Bertha Mirth. The two have lived in Alan Port all their lives as far as they can remember. They have been taking part in sports since they were very young and enjoy all of them. The two together on a team is nearly unstoppable making most coaches happy to have them. The only problem they have is staying focused. Often they get distracted by pretty girls or video games. School is not their best area, but they manage with Colin's help and their want to stay on the sports teams at school. Colin is their oldest and best friend. He stays the night at their house often. Often enough their spare bedroom is pretty much his. The three are always seen together and it's probably the reason Colin's mother doesn't get him completely depressed. The two are unsure what kind of career they want making it difficult when everyone is talking about colleges and majors. For now they are contempt with the way things are. The only thing they would like to change is their unending history of migranes. |
