The Author

I, Adam Singletary, was born in a small town called Avon Park, Florida. Not a very eventful place, but it seems that some of the most amazing things come from uneventful places. Even at a young age I was creative. Everything was an adventure. twigs were magnificent swords. Dried up old magnolia leaves were heavily armed star ships, and the janitor at my school was really a secret agent sent to keep an eye on me. And as much as I hate to admit that last part is true, I really did imagine that in kindergarten. I started writing Colin's adventure when I was sixteen. Sitting on my bed the day after Christmas and feeling suddenly inspired I picked up some paper and a pencil and started writing. Looking at it know makes me laugh. The pages are tattered on the edges but the words are still there. Not to give anything away, but I assure everyone that from my first writings to my product now has changed quite a bit. I love to write, I love to make art and be creative. Even now the smallest things can inspire me. I love it. I love having the ideas and then writing them down. Of course, not all ideas are good ideas, but it's still nice to continue to have them. While the world around me continues to change and evolve I adapt an push on. My work has grown and expanded and gotten better over the years and will continue to do so. I am always learning and thinking and deciding what will be best for my characters and my story. I am currently enrolled at the University of Central Florida to get my BFA in Studio Art with a track in Painting. As well as writing my stories for as long as they will come to me.
